Thе documentary will throw the light on the old conflict between producers and consumers. Why do we have a new version of smartphones every year? Why is it cheaper to buy a new printer than repair an old one? What does the phrase “guaranteed for two years” mean? Few people know that producers deliberately shorten working lifespan of goods for consumer to come to shops as often as possible. Otherwise production will become unprofitable, that’s why our lightbulbs burn out so often.
